NT Land Corporation, in partnership with NT Farmers Association, will soon be calling for expressions of interests for exciting and unique large-scale agricultural land developments.
Wildman Agricultural Precinct encompasses approximately 26,000 hectares of land and is located 135 kms east of Darwin, north of the Arnhem Highway along the Point Stuart Road.
The large-scale agricultural precinct comprises four areas of land. NT Portions 2623, 2624 and 3611 which are available on long-term lease, and NT Portion 5088 which is being offered for freehold sale as part of the development.
This high value site is available to one entity with a proven track record who can demonstrate the necessary experience and capability to develop the Wildman Agricultural Precinct to its full potential.
The site experiences high wet season rainfall and is in a low risk cyclone area, as evidenced by the surrounding wooded vegetation and has a large percentage of deep sandy soils suitable for cultivation.
A water licence of 8,021ML is also available for NT Portion 5088 as part of the Wildman Agricultural Precinct.
The Wildman Agricultural Precinct has the capacity to accommodate multiple agricultural and horticultural activities and high yield crops such as bananas, and including rain fed forestry such as mahogany as well as cattle production.
